The bale wire closure replacements were too loose. I have no way to make them tight. I feel like I wasted my money, since the items cannot be returned.

I purchased a package of new bales for my old jars whose bales had rusted. These bales fit most of my old jars perfectly. A little simple adjustment with a pair of pliers was enough to fit the new bales to the few old and odd sized jars I use. ALL of my old bale jars are now back in use.

First, I was really happy to find a place that had bale wire replacements!
