These are original Bormioli Fido Replacement Bale Wires. They fit jars 500ml to 5L.
Includes upper wire, lower wire, and D-ring.

Usually they fit snugly and perfectly right out of the package, but from time to time require a bit of tweaking at the hinge to achieve a perfect fit.

These bale wire replacements DO NOT FIT LeParfait Jars, nor any other brand. Please ensure that your Jar is Bormioli Fido brand with "Fido" stamped in the lid before purchase.

The parts for each package are counted twice, and we do not accept returns on this product due to our return policy being abused, with partial packages returned missing the D rings. We have reinspected to ensure that the package is complete with 6 upper wires, 6 lower wires, and 6 D rings.

The bale wire closure replacements were too loose. I have no way to make them tight. I feel like I wasted my money, since the items cannot be returned.

I purchased a package of new bales for my old jars whose bales had rusted. These bales fit most of my old jars perfectly. A little simple adjustment with a pair of pliers was enough to fit the new bales to the few old and odd sized jars I use. ALL of my old bale jars are now back in use.
